We are so blessed to have found Dr. Justin Michaels for general vet care AND behavioral needs! He came into our lives at just the right time for our two very anxious 7-month-old puppy-farm rescue puppies. My husband and I have raised several puppies before, but didn't understand how to help these two. Dr. Justin came to observe them right in our home (their natural environment) and provided an overall health and behavioral assessment. He helped us understand the roots of their stress, fearfulness, thresholds, & triggers, and the type of training that would be best for them.
They each began a medication with careful ongoing monitoring. Dr. Justin was so compassionate about helping these two pups learn to feel comfortable in their world. We are following his advice regarding triggers & training, and now, 10 months later, we are seeing two older puppies growing more confident and excited about the world in which they live. The best part is that Dr. Justin can continue to provide all their vet care right in our home to keep them healthy and happy—he knows them, and they know & trust him.

Dr Justin Michaels is a very knowledgeable vet and top of everything he is an amazing human being. He goes above and beyond each time to look out for our older dog Milo. I have known him for the last 4 years now, and he always has been a saviour each time. He actually helps his clients and doesn’t treat animals as his “billable” like commercial vets do.

I had the good fortune today to get Justin, a mobile vet, come out to the house to look at our 9yo Australian Mist cat’s sore eye. Taking Ollie to the vets has always distressed him and us and we hoped the mobile option would be the answer.
